AYCN fulfils the need to develop a channel for encouraging interaction to promote knowledge sharing between young communicators globally, which is critical for increasing awareness and understanding, not only about the media and communication sectors in various countries, but also about the relevant political and socio-economic conditions in these countries.
AYCN is a global platform which allows its members to collaborate on various aspects of their education and benefit from sharing and exploring the wide array of work being created by their peers in areas of journalism, broadcasting, the Internet, multimedia, public relations and advertising.
In addition the portal also includes an extensive repository of published material on an array of issues from environment to health from organisations such as UNESCO, the United Nations and other key agencies, which can be used by the student members for their various academic pursuits.
All papers will be selected on a competitive basis and an expert panel will be appointed for screening all the submissions. Click here for UNESCO themes.
